Tyra Ferrell (born January 28, 1962) is an American actress.

She appeared in Jungle Fever (1991), which starred Wesley Snipes and Annabella Sciorra. She also had roles in films such as Boyz in the Hood (1991), White Men Can't Jump (1992) and Poetic Justice (1993). At one time Ferrell also maintained a recurring role in the television series ER.

In 1991, Ferrell was listed as one of twelve "Promising New Actors of 1991" in John Willis' Screen World. [1] In 2005, she was nominated for an image award as an outstanding actress in a Television Movie, Mini-Series or Dramatic Special for NTSB: The Crash of Flight 323(2004)(TV).[2]
