A river, about 1,126 km (700 mi) long, of northern Democratic Republic of the Congo, flowing westward as a tributary of the Ubangi River.

Uele or Welle (both: wĕ'), river, c.700 mi (1,130 km) long, rising in NE Congo (Kinshasa), central Africa, and flowing west to merge with the Bomu River and thus form the Ubangi River at the Congo-Central African Republic border. Its course has many rapids.
