The Graduate School of Library and Information Science (GSLIS) is a graduate school at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Illinois has been consistently ranked as the top Library and Information Science graduate program in the country by U.S. News & World Report. According to Research and Markets' 2008-2009 Survey of Academic Libraries, Illinois has again been ranked the number one library and information science program in the U.S. and Canada[1]. The program is currently accredited in full good standing by the American Library Association. The program is known to be selective and is very well-regarded worldwide for the quality of its graduates.
Facilities
GSLIS is located on the corner of 5th and Daniel streets in Champaign, IL. The building used to be a frat house, and still has functional showers for both men and women.
