Perhaps no more evil, selfish being than Ultimecia has ever lived -- which is really saying something considering the fact that she hasn't even lived yet! The vile sorceress is actually from the future and has the ability to posses beings from the past so that she may use her dark power through them in order to become even more powerful in her own time. Only those with the power and spirit of Squall's team of SeeDs could possibly be able to stop her so that they can save the world as they know it. Still, they face the risk of not only being defeated, but also being lost forever in time.
