This company has carved out a sandwich empire in the middle of the country. United States Beef Corporation is the largest franchisee of Arby's fast-food restaurants in the US with more than 275 locations in half a dozen states, mostly in Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma. The restaurants, franchised from Arby's Restaurant Group (part of Wendy's/Arby's Group), serve the chain's signature roast beef sandwiches and curly fries, as well as ham, chicken, and turkey subs. Bob Davis and his wife Connie opened their first Arby's in 1969 and founded United States Beef in 1974. The Davis family continues to own the company.
