The 2010 United States Senate election in California will take place in California on November 2, 2010 alongside 33 other elections to the United States Senate in other states as well as elections to the United States House of Representatives and various state and local elections. The election will fill California's Class III Senate seat, currently held by Democrat Barbara Boxer. Boxer was first elected in 1992 and since been reelected to the Senate twice. The winner of the election will serve for six years, a total of three sessions of Congress.
