Unulfo (Handel: Rodelinda). Alto. Travesti role (originally castrato). Nobleman, counsellor to Grimoaldo. A secret friend of Bertarido, the deposed king, whom he helps to escape and regain his throne. Created (1725) by the castrato Andrea Pacini.
