Usher is the debut studio album by American singer Usher, released by LaFace and Arista Records on August 30, 1994 (see 1994 in music) in North America.
Usher co-wrote four out of the fourteen songs on the album with distinctive sound vocally with Faith Evans contributing to many of the tracks' background vocals. It debuted at number one hundred and sixty-seven on the Billboard 200 and twenty-five on the U.S. Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop albums chart, selling only 30,000 copies in total domestically, becoming Usher's lowest album sales to date. It spawned three singles with "The Many Ways", "Think of You", and "Can U Get Wit It".
