USS Bennington
There have been at least two United States Navy ships named Bennington, named after the town of Bennington, Vermont, where was fought the Battle of Bennington on 16 August 1777.
- The first Bennington (Gunboat No. 4) was commissioned in 1891 and took possession of Wake Island during the Spanish-American War.
- The second Bennington (CV-20) was an aircraft carrier of World War II and later, decommissioned in 1970.
