The population of Utirik Atoll is 409[1]; it is one of the northernmost Marshall Islands with permanent habitation.

- Bikrak
- Pike
- Āllok
- Nalap
Utirik was one of the four atolls affected by the Bravo shot, the largest of the many atomic weapons tested in the Marshall Islands during the years immediately following World War II. Research is still being done to ascertain the radiation levels there, though many scientists agree that there is no harmful effect from the radiation still present.
