  • Release Year: 1998

Plot

Vagabonding Images is an experimental film about a couple, a family, and the ages of man, from birth to death. The film is like a dream; shot over a period of several years, fragmented images reflect remembered moments of life to create a sequence of microscopic stories. Forms of cinematic language inspired by the poetic collage techniques of the French Surrealists and Haiku poets, as well as the presence of voices reciting texts by Dylan Thomas, Robert Frost and Andre Breton, create a poetic sense of time. Vagabonding Images was screened as part of the New German Films program of the 49th International Berlin Film Festival, 1999. ~ Gönül Dönmez-Colin, All Movie Guide
