Valda Setterfield

Setterfield, Valda (b Margate, 17 Sept. 1934). British dancer She studied with Rambert and A. de Vos, and danced briefly with Ballet Rambert before touring Italy in a revue during 1956. In 1958 she moved to America where she danced with Waring (1958-60), Cunningham (1960-1 and 1965-74), Rainer (1971-2), and Grand Union (1976). She is married to David Gordon and they have danced together in many of his works, including Offenbach Suite (1985).
