Valentina Vargas (born December 31, 1964) is a Chilean-born actress who developed most of her career in France, where she was raised.
Valentina Vargas initiated her career in the dramatic art within the workshop of Tania Balaschova in Paris and also later at the Yves Pignot School of Los Angeles. Her cinematographic career, got it starts via the filming of three of the most important works in contemporary French cinema. These were Pierre Jolivet’s (Strictly personal), Luc Besson’s (great blue) and Jean-Jacques Annaud (the name of the rose). Over the years, Valentina Vargas also worked with Samuel Fuller (Without hope of return), Miguel Littin (Los naufragos) and Alfredo Arieta (Fuegos).
Eclectic, and trilingual (she usually speaks Spanish, French and English), Valentina Vargas adapts spontaneously to all three as she is inperceptibly fluent in all three. This skill has enabled her to pass without notice in films as varied as the cinematic horror film (Hellraiser 4 where she incarnates the Coenobite Angelica to the comedy (Chili con carne of Thomas Gilou). She also played the counterpart to Jan Michael Vincent’s "Dirty Games" and with Michael Ironside and Malcolm McDowell in " Southern Cross-Country Race" and James Remar ‘s…"The Tigress". After her performance in Bloody Mallory of which she incarnated "the malicious one", she turned to playing roles for television initially she played in a version of “Dangerous Liasons" written by Josée Dayan, She starred in this production with Catherine Deneuve, Rupert Everett, Leelee Sobieski and Nastassja Kinski.
