Residents of the Shenandoah Valley -- encompassing parts of Virginia, West Virginia, and Maryland -- turn to Valley Health in times of medical need. The not-for-profit organization owns three acute care hospitals: its flagship facility Winchester Medical Center, with some 410 beds, as well as four smaller community hospitals (Warren Memorial, Shenandoah Memorial, Page Memorial, and Hampshire Memorial). It also manages War Memorial Hospital, a county-owned facility in rural West Virginia. In addition to its hospital operations, Valley Health operates an outpatient surgery center, nursing home, rehabilitation facility, ambulance service, and home health care agency, among other things.
