Vanessa Duve is a German fashion model who replaced Lauren Hutton in advertising for Barneys New York in the late 1980s. She is 6 feet tall. In America, she is best known for starring in numerous Biotherm advertisements in the late 1980s.[citation needed]

She was represented by Sara Foley of the W2 agency, an offshoot of Wilhelmina Models.

She earned $8,000 a day in 1989, the year she posed in Vogue for three full-page ads for Valentino Boutique and a fourth for Georges Rech. Looking further in the same issue, Duve models for Chanel and Azzedine Alaia.[1]
