Biography

Verônica Sabino (formerly Céu da Boca) had her first hit in 1986, "Demais" (John Lennon/Paul McCartney), performed by Zé Rodrix and Miguel Paiva). Included in the soap opera Selva de Pedra's soundtrack, it was one of the biggest hits of that year. In 1988 she had another one with "Todo Sentimento" (Chico Buarque/Cristóvão Bastos), which was used in the soundtrack of the soap opera Vale Tudo. In 1992, "Tudo o Que Se Quer" (All I Ask of You, performed by Nelson Motta with Emílio Santiago) was included in the soundtrack of yet another soap opera, Tieta. Recording three solo albums from 1993 to 1997, she released the fourth in France at the MIDEM audio fair in 1999. ~ Alvaro Neder, All Music Guide
