Wikipedia: Vernon Biever

Vernon J. Biever is a photographer for the Green Bay Packers professional football team.

Biever covered his first Packers game in 1941, while a student at St. Norbert College in DePere, Wisconsin. [1] He has been the official team photographer since 1946, his career spanning the days of Curly Lambeau, through the Vince Lombardi era, and continuing to the present day.

His photographs were collected in 1997 in a book entitled The Glory of Titletown (ISBN 0878339906). Biever's photographs have been featured in countless books, television shows and even movies.

Biever was inducted into the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame in 2002. His son John has followed in his father's footsteps, and is himself a photographer for Sports Illustrated. His other son, James Biever, and grandson Michael Biever have also followed in his footsteps as photographers for the Packers.
