Review
Very Best Of collects Modern Talking's biggest hits and definitive album tracks over the years, including "You're My Heart, You're My Soul," "Brother Louie," "Cheri Cheri Lady," and "Jet Airliner." Along with their '80s material, the album also features tracks from the group's 1998 reunion, "I Will Follow You" and "Don't Play with My Heart," which update the German duo's big, glossy synth pop sound without reworking it completely. Other highlights of the collection include "Geronimo's Cadillac," "Give Me Peace on Earth," "Locomotion Tango," and "You Are Not Alone."
