Viera, Florida
Situated on former Duda Ranch and scrub forest land, Viera is a master planned community in Brevard County, Florida, located in the Space Coast region. It is unincorporated.[1] Viera is home to many of the county's government buildings. It also contains the Space Coast Stadium, home field for the Brevard County Manatees, former spring training home to the Florida Marlins, and now training home to the Washington Nationals. The population of Viera (as of 2000) is approximately 19,083. [2]

Ribbon cutting ceremonies were held on August 5, 2006, and May 19, 2007 to the park opening and the community center.
Future development in the park includes a dog park, and the Viera Company has donated 7 acres for future development of football fields and site improvements when funding becomes available. Parks and Recreation staff is working with the football league to stabilize the fields.
Construction of batting cage has commenced and completion is anticipated by late July.
