(Sanskrit). Inversion or cognitive distortion in relation to four things. By virtue of this misapprehension, beings treat the impermanent (anitya) as permanent (nitya), suffering (duḥkha) as happiness (sukha), non-self (anātman) as self (ātman) and the impure (aśubha) as pure (śubha).
