Vittra is an education company which runs 27 schools in Sweden. Vittra says that its idea is to contribute to increasing life's opportunities for every child through education and learning. Today Vittra educates over 8500 children and youngsters between the ages of one and eighteen and runs pre-schools, schools and colleges throughout the whole of Sweden. Vittra's educational model is born from three core values: individual development, a living culture and challenging learning environments.
Educational model
Vittra's idea is to contribute to increasing life's opportunities through education and learning. Its aim and wish is that all children and youngsters should have the possibility to grow, become self-sufficient and reflective individuals with good knowledge and proficiency for life.
Vittra's model is based on the principle that all children are born with a curiosity and keenness to discover new things. They are eager to try to develop new skills in the world around them. The model has its starting point in three core values: individual development, a living culture and challenging learning environments.
