Vladimir Dmitrievich Kazantsev (Russian: Владимир Дмитриевич Казанцев) (born 6 January 1923) was a Soviet athlete who competed mainly in the 3000 metre steeple chase. He trained at Dynamo in Moscow.
Kazantsev took part in the Great Patriotic War in the rank of Private at the Kalinin Front, and was awarded the Order of the Great Patriotic War.[1]
After the war he competed for the USSR in the 1952 Summer Olympics held in Helsinki, Finland in the 3000 metre steeple chase where he won the silver medal.
