Vogel
German family of stuccoists. (1) Johann Jakob Vogel was assisted by his son (2) Franz Jakob Vogel in several projects at Bamberg. Another son, Andreas Vogel (married 1734), is believed to be the stuccoist AV who in 1763 worked on the decoration of the Fliesensaal of the Residenz in Ansbach. Their relationship to Johann Caspar Vogel ( fl 1690-1718, perhaps a brother of (1) Johann Jakob Vogel), Heinrich Vogel (d 20 March 1759) and Christoph Vogel (d 1770), stuccoists in the Bamberg region, is not clearly established.
