Depends on the vehicle, engine size and what kind of driving is being done.

On a motorway, I used to get approx 4.25 km/litre with my 61 seater twin-deck B10M, but less with the air-con on.

With my current 71 seater double-decker B12B I can get approx 1.42 km/litre (though I spend most of my current time round town - a fuel eater).

Our newer 79 seater double-decker B12B Volvo gets approx 2.84 km/litre

Our 33 seater single deck B10M probably gets around 5-6 Km/litre.
