Walk of Life is the second album by pop singer Billie Piper, released in 2000. Piper's second album did not match her multi-platinum debut despite producing three Top 30 singles - "Day and Night" went to #1 and "Something Deep Inside" peaking at #4 and "Walk of Life" finishing at #25 on the UK charts.
Despite favourable reviews, the album was not released in the US.[citation needed] Piper subsequently decided to take a break from the music industry and concentrate on acting. The album was released in Japan long before it was released in the UK and very shortly after her debut album was released there. Many fans ordered the album from Japan rather than wait until its release in October, which could be reason for poor sales.
By the 21st of September, 2002, the album was at its last week on the charts, at #109.
