Game Character:

Warhead

Character Bio

Unable to leave the ore alone, the U.S. government sponsored two projects involving the mysterious substance. One yielded CY-5, and the other combined the ore with nuclear technology, spawning the most powerful weapon in the universe.

After a year of work with no word from the team, the government sent in an official to see why there was no communication and to check up on how the project was going. As he entered the facility, practically the entire island exploded, vaporizing almost everyone inside. The official, however, would be fine after reeling back a few hundred feet. Shards of the ore flew out of the explosion, slicing deep within his body as the radiation horribly mutated him.

He awakened with a terrible new hunger for destruction and no recollection of his past. After hearing about the War Gods tournament Warhead decided to join, craving nothing more than death and devastation.

FATALITY:

For his finale, Warhead radios in to a platoon of bombers, which unleashes an incendiary attack on his opponent, leaving nothing but a smoldering crater.

THE STORY:

Even as our own solar system was being brutally beaten into shape at the hands of the big bang, there were already many other advanced civilizations embarking upon conquests across the stars. Of course, not every one of these civilizations could peer through the cloud of intergalactic haze that covered our Milky Way galaxy, hiding the treacherous environs inside. Fortunately, only one craft ever ventured inside (though a million deaths within the galaxy would have been preferable when compared to what would soon happen).

As the ship entered our galaxy it was thrust into a huge asteroid field, fusing and melding the rock and plasma in the vacuum of space. The ship was almost immediately struck, sent careening toward the fiery sun. Spinning and rolling, the ship finally pulverized itself into the molten Earth -- but not before its cargo bay was ripped open. As a result, a dozen shards of green ore were sent out across the cooling planet.

Holding great medicinal powers for the alien race, the ore seemed to affect humans in an entirely different way, contorting their minds and bestowing them with great powers. Throughout the history of Earth, ten humans managed to find shards of the ore. Brought together in one giant end-all contest, only one will survive as the most powerful being alive. There will be only one true War God. ~ Shawn Sackenheim, All Game Guide
