Samuel LaWayne Haddix (born July 23, 1965 in Bolivar, Tennessee) is a former American football defensive back in the National Football League who played for the New York Giants (1987–1988), Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1990–1991), and Cincinnati Bengals (1991). Haddix was selected to the Pro Bowl in 1990 after intercepting his only seven interceptions of his career. He attended college at Liberty University.

Haddix gained a bit of fame in the early 1990s through his inclusion in the Nintendo home video game "Tecmo Super Bowl". Somewhat inexplicably, Haddix was among the most dominant defensive players in the game, even though he played for the (then) lowly Tampa Bay Buccaneers. His 75 max speed and 75 interception skill combination was unmatched, and approached only by David Fulcher and Rod Woodson.

Haddix lettered in football, basketball and baseball at Middleton High School in Middleton, Tennessee.
