"Weathered" is a single written and performed by Creed from their album, Weathered.
The song seems to pertain to the endurance of hardship; whether it be despair, the insignificance of one's life, or stagnation. The chorus and song title both allude to exposure to external elements and influences which alter a person. Just as a rock is weathered and metal is rusted, the human specimen is also changed due to experience. Yet the admission of his vulnerability and jaded state is obvious; moments indicative of hope are embedded as well ("But I choose to win. So I choose to fight.").
