SpotlightHappy 58th birthday to Hillary Rodham Clinton. The New York senator who was once First Lady of the United States is the first FLOTUS ever to be elected to national public office. She was born in Chicago, IL, and studied law at Yale Law School, where she met fellow student Bill Clinton. After law school she served on the House panel that investigated the Watergate affair. She has published two books, It Takes a Village and Other Lessons Children Teach Us (1996) and Living History (2003). Earlier this month Clinton was inducted into the National Women's Hall of Fame.
