The Welfare and Social Services Minister of Israel (Hebrew: שר הרווחה והשירותים החברתיים, Sar HaRevaha VeHaShirutim HaHevratayim) is the political head of the Israeli Ministry of Welfare and Social Services and a position in the Israeli cabinet. The post was established in 1948 as the Minister of Welfare. In 1977 it and the Minister of Labour post were merged, becoming the Minister of Labor and Social Welfare. In 2003 the labour part of the post was appended to the Industry and Trade Minister portfolio, and its present name was adopted. The current minister is Isaac Herzog of Labor Party.
There is occasionally a Deputy Minister.
