Wenzel (Nuremberg, 1361-1419, Wenzelstein), German King (see Deutscher König) from 1378 to 1400 and also King Wenzel IV of Bohemia from 1378 until his death. Wenzel was elected in 1376 and succeeded his father Karl IV in 1378. In 1400 the four electors of the Rhineland conspired against him and deposed him, electing Rupert of the Palatinate (1352-1410).
