Beumelburg, Werner (Trarbach/Moselle, 1899-1963, Würzburg), served in both World Wars (see Weltkriege I und II), was a senior member of the NSDAP, and was prominent in the Deutsche Akademie der Dichtung from 1933 onwards. His partly historical fiction includes numerous nationalistic war books, notably Donaumont (1925), Ypern (1925), Sperrfeuer um Deutschland (1929), Gruppe Bosemüller (1930), and Mont Royal (1936).
