West End is a village in the county of Surrey, England.

West End is between Camberley and Woking, each around 4 miles or 6 to 7 km away. The A322 road runs north-south through the village, and leads to junction 3 of the M3 motorway, about 2 miles or 3 km away. The nearest stations are Bagshot to the north and Brookwood to the south, each about 3 miles or 5 km distant. Neighbouring villages include Donkey Town, Bisley, Lightwater, Knaphill and Chobham. Located in the borough of Surrey Heath, it adjoins the heath, Westend Common, which lies to its west and includes training ranges of the British army. The River Bourne runs through the village from its sources in Westend Common.

West End has a rural atmosphere, with parks and grassland areas.

The bus routes 34 and 35 travel through the village at intervals of 30 minutes.

West End obtained its name because it was once regarded as the west end of Chobham, which lies some 2 miles or 3 km to the north-east. (The 1845 map referenced below suggests that the area was part of the parish of Chobham.) Although many new houses have been built around the village it was, until recently, a noted centre of nursery gardening [2], Westend Common is home to many rare heathland plants and has been designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) by English Nature.[3] It is also a Thames Basin Heaths Special Protection Area within the remit of Surrey Heath.[4]

Every Year on the village recreation ground there is the Summer Fete and in the autumn, The Horticultural and Agricultural show. West End also boasts a seniors football team and a cricket team too.

The region has been settled since prehistoric times[citation needed] with a megalithic barrow on Westend Common.[5]

The village has two schools: the Holy Trinity Church of England Junior school and Gordon's School which was built in commemoration of Gordon of Khartoum. The village is made up of the old houses, a new estate, some small shops and hairdressers and a BP garage.

Brian May, lead guitarist of legendary rock band Queen is a local resident.
