West Malvern is a village and a civil parish on the west side of the north part of the Malvern Hills at the western edge of Worcestershire, administered by the Malvern Hills District Council (sector 006), and part of the informally defined area often referred to as The Malverns. The location is given by grid reference SO764465.

West Malvern has superb views of the rolling Herefordshire countryside due to its altitude (up to 250m above sea level). There is a church (St. James' - built 1840) and a primary school (St. James Church of England primary). The church is the site of the grave of Peter Mark Roget - author of Roget's Thesaurus.

The West Malvern Village Hall is a key resource within the community. A registered charity, it is home to many clubs and societies in the village. Until recently, West Malvern was home to Violinist Nigel Kennedy and photographer Martyn Goodacre.

The village has two pubs, one of which is The Brewers Arms, down in The Dingle.
