Plot

In this Universal "Blue Streak" Western, Art Acord plays "Arizona" Allen, a tough cowboy who saves Clare Dyer (Marceline Day) from a masked bandit. The "outlaw" turns out to be Clare's irresponsible brother "Rowdy" (stunt-man Robert Rose) and their father, "Dynamite" Dyer (William Welsh), hires "Arizona" to look after him."Rowdy" gets himself into trouble with crooked gambler Buck Zaney (S.E. Jennings), who frames both "Rowdy" and his keeper in a stage robbery. When the chips are down, however, "Rowdy" finally behaves like a man and the two manage to clear their names. Returning to the ranch, old "Dynamite" Dyer greets "Arizona" as his new son-in-law. Western Pluck was based on a story by prolific pulp writer Wilbur C. Tuttle. ~ Hans J.
