"What's New Pussycat?" is a song made famous by singers such as Tom Jones (US #3 in 1965), Bobby Darin, Tony Bennett, Anita Kerr and The Four Seasons; it was written by Burt Bacharach and Hal David. It is the title tune of the movie starring Peter Sellers.

Barbra Streisand performed several lines in her "Color Me Barbra Medley" from the TV special and album "Color Me Barbra". Czech singer Pavel Novak recorded song under the Czech title "Zofie" in 1966.

Cultural References

In The Simpsons episode Husbands and Knives, the character Milo plays a Korean version of "What's New Pussycat?" In another episode when Marge worked at the nuclear power plant she requested to have Tom Jones music being played there so they played this song.

In an episode of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Carlton sang this song when he came home the next morning after he lost his virginity.

In an episode of That 70's Show, Bob sang this song on the tape recorder for Eric which was recording incidents going on while he was in Africa.
