When most people think of dinosaurs they picture the huge ones, like the giant plant-eating sauropods or the large carnivores (meat eaters) like Tyrannosaurus rex. But some dinosaurs were actually very small. The smallest of them may have been the Compsognathus (pronounced "kahmp SAHG nuh thuhs"), which was only about as big as a chicken.
