Plot

Wild Cargo is another of explorer/hunter Frank Buck's forays into the Jungle. In search of animals to "bring back alive" for zoos and circuses, Buck chops his way through the foliage of Ceylon, Malaya and Northern India. While one of the film's setpieces is a contretemps between a panther and a python, most of the film is devoted to showing the various crafty methods used by Buck to humanely trap his prey. Wild Cargo was the second of Frank Buck's feature-length advertisements for himself, and like the first (Bring 'Em Back Alive) it earned a fortune for RKO Radio. The film was directed by another globetrotter of note, Armand Denis. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
