Although it went gold, Wildside made it clear that Loverboy's polished hard rock formula was running out of gas. Wildside was an album released in 1987 by the Canadian rock band Loverboy. This was the first album that the band had released that did not go platinum, signaling a general decline in the band's success.
Its cover layout is noticeably similar to the band Heart's album Bad Animals, released
