Biography
British stage actor/director/writer Wilfred Noy made his screen directorial debut with 1913's Behind the Scenes. In the early '20s, Noy began accepting character roles in Hollywood. He tended to play doctors in silent films, and butlers in talkies. Retiring from acting in 1932, Wilfred Noy directed one final feature, the British quota quickie Well Done, Henry, in 1936; he also logged several credits as a producer and screenwriter. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
