Wilhelm Ludwig, Duke of Württemberg (Stuttgart, January 7, 1647- Hirsau, June 23, 1677), served as ruler of the senior Duchy of Württemberg from 1674 until his death in 1677.
Wilhelm Ludwig was the ninth child of Eberhard III, Duke of Württemberg and his first wife Anna Katharina von Kyrburg.
He married on November 6, 1673 in Darmstadt with Magdalena Sibylla of Hessen-Darmstadt, and had 4 children:
- Eleonore Dorothea (1674-1674)
- Eberhardine Luise (1675-1675)
- Eberhard Ludwig (1676-1733), next Duke of Württemberg
- Magdalena Wilhelmine (November 7, 1677 - October 30, 1742), married Karl III Wilhelm, Margrave of Baden-Durlach
At the age of 30, the Duke died unexpectedly at the stop-over in Schloß Hirsau. His widow Magdalena Sibylla became Regentess of Württemberg between 1677 and 1693, until her son reached adulthood.
