William Blacker

Blacker, William (1777-1855), Orangeman and poet. Born in Carrickblacker, Co. Armagh, he was the author of Orange ballads such as ‘Cromwell's Advice’. The title-poem in Ardmagh (1848) is a verse chronicle of Armagh Cathedral from druid times to the Act of Union.
