Chief Master William George Townsend Clark II (William Clark), is an American Taekwondo master and instructor.
Career Highlights
- Became a student of Haeng Ung Lee in 1969.
- Opened his first academy in Jacksonville, FL in 1971.
- Named American Taekwondo Association instructor of the year in 1974.
- Won American Taekwondo Association Grand National Championship in 1976.
- Named Professional Karate Association fighter of the year in 1976.
- Retired from tournament competition in 1978 to focus on growing Songahm Taekwondo.
Karate America
Clark has spent the last twenty years running Karate America, a group of 31 Martial Arts schools with over 10,000 members, all located in the U.S. state of Florida.
