English mason. He was master-mason at Beverley Minster, Yorks., from 1335, where he supervised the completion of the nave. He appears to have designed the tomb of Lady Eleanor Percy there (1340), reckoned to be one of the finest creations of English C14 funerary architecture of its type before the Black Death. He built the north aisle and wall-arcade at Beverley, and may also have worked at York Minster and Bainton Church, Yorks., in the 1320s.
