William Dozier (February 13, 1908 – April 23, 1991) was a television producer and actor, most famous as the producer and narrator of the Batman television series,[1] although he was uncredited for it. He also produced The Green Hornet tv show, a spin off from Batman, which starred Van Williams and Bruce Lee. Dozier also made a screen test of an aborted version of Wonder Woman in 1967. He was married three times, once to actress Joan Fontaine by whom he had a daughter, and lastly to actress Ann Rutherford, who survived him.[2]
He is buried in Culver City's Holy Cross Cemetery.
