Winterbourne Steepleton is a village in south west Dorset, England, situated in a winterbourne valley five miles west of Dorchester, next to the village of Winterbourne Abbas. The village has a population of 295 (As of 2001[update]), and derives its name from having one of only three stone church steeples in the county (the others being at Iwerne Minster and Trent).[1]
