Amir Baghiri has a reputation as one of the premier electro-tribal ambient and desert ambient artists in the e-music community. On Winterscape, he maintains and enhances that reputation. This is a journey to a distant environment that is still desolate and isolated. Baghiri's deep drones set the table for dark atmospheres and sublime timbres. The organic textures enhance the atmospheres. Baghiri's virtuoso talent is at its peak as he performs on no fewer than 21 instruments and devices. The mix is masterful.
