Game Description

X-COM: Alliance is a 3D squad-based shooter. Unlike previous incarnations in the venerable series of X-COM games, this installment involves fast action and team strategies in the same vein as the Team Fortress mod for Half-Life or the popular Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six series of games. In line with this style of play, X-COM: Alliance features extensive multiplayer support. Of course, some elements of the X-COM story will always endure. As with the original classic from Microprose, X-COM: Alliance players will battle against a force of mysterious, invading aliens. Characters will develop with experience, becoming better at their duties as the game progresses. Recovered alien equipment and autopsies of fallen alien corpses will allow the player to advance and develop the technology needed to keep the aliens from gaining an upper hand, as the struggle for Earth continues. ~ T.J.
