Plot

Just as the previous adventure "The Phalanx Covenant" featured return visits from such old X-Men nemeses as Magneto and Dr. Sinister, so too does "A Deal with the Devil" feature a sinister echo from the past. This time it is Omega Red, a living "death machine" created by Russian generals in hopes of restoring the former Soviet Empire. Recently thawed out, Omega Red has apparently embarked upon a humanitarian mission, to retrieve two nuclear missiles from a sunken sub. Only when he demands to be accompanied by Storm and Wolverine does Omega Red betray his actual intentions. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
