Xindu District (Chinese:新都区) is a district of Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Province, China.
The Xindu District was founded in 2001, and is located 16 kilometers from downtown Chengdu which is the capital of Sichuan Province.
The population of Xindu is 600,000 , with an area of 481km2
